Logo Design Brief

We have a product that clamps a wire rope to a plastic cable. These clamps are used in the ocean.
We want to create a logo with a name and image that
-identifies our product quality. i.e Very Strong Grip.
- Easy to say.
- Likable image/character.

Some concepts we have thought of so far are;
- Occy Grips. Picture or an octopus character holding 2 vertical objects ( 1- Wire rope. 2- Cable (Cable is 4 x diameter of wire rope approximately). If its not possible to have and occy holding 2 objects then a mean looking occy will do.

There are lots of variations of the animal doing the gripping i.e croc, snake, Tarzan, dingo, shark etc etc
