Hello, I was wondering if you could post a small synopsis of the book so that we could get a feel for it and possibly give you some different ideas? Please

Hi,
Here''s a rough synopsis:

FRY

The villain: Beautiful, waif-like Alicia McBride. Homeless, jobless and deadly.

The heroine: Red-haired Isabel Anderson, a trainee supermarket manager with a love of fashion.

The love interest: Doctor Deacon Frost. Sexy. Maddening. Always thinks he knows best.

The setting: Queensbeach, a rainy English seaside town, that's almost deserted out of season.

Synopsis: FRY

It's a terrible thing not to be believed...

Isabel Anderson doesn't mean to run down waif-like Alicia McBride with her car. It's an accident. And Alicia isn't hurt anyway. In fact, Isabel is more shaken than she is. Overcome with guilt, Isabel helps Alicia get a job at the supermarket where she works. She even invites her to her friend Deacon's barbecue, where she quickly ingratiates herself with Isabel's friends. But while Deacon is looking for matches, Isabel is amazed to see Alicia light the barbecue just by rubbing a couple of stones together.

Then, when the caravan park where Alicia is staying burns down, Deacon invites her to stay at his house.  Isabel begins to suspect that Alicia knows more about the fire than she is letting on. However, it is Isabel who finds herself under suspicion. Alicia acts like she's Isabel's new best friend, but is she hiding a deadly obsession? Soon a whole spate of fires breaks out all over the quiet seaside town of Queensbeach and Isabel must stay one step ahead of the flames, and the police.

Determined to confront Alicia, she walks in on her when she's changing and sees the word `FRY' branded across her back in capital letters. From then on, she sees `FRY' everywhere she goes; in graffiti, on the toilet wall, even on a car registration plate.

That's when her beloved cat Fluffy goes missing. Desperate to find him, Isabel puts up posters all over her neighbourhood, but as fast as puts them up, someone takes them down.  She is convinced that Alicia is behind it, but why? And who will help her fight back when Alicia has all her friends wrapped around her little finger, including Deacon, for whom Isabel realises too late she has feelings.

Soon Isabel begins to question her own innocence, her sanity, and the very fabric of her moral beliefs.

FRY is a fast-paced psychological thriller in the tradition of Sophie Hannah and Julia Crouch.
