T-shirt Design Brief
The t shirt design would be on trend and really look great - know that sounds obvious...but!
The team is known from being very exciting to watch (currently ranked world #3) and although come from very humble backgrounds are amongst the best players in the world and play a rugby style that is unique to the islands of fiji - very expressive, attractive, risky and great to watch! The sport of rugby 7s is now in the olympics and makes its debut at the Rio 2016 games. No pacific Island has ever won any medal at an Olympic Games and we will be a strong gold medal candidate. The qualifying starts in a few months time for Rio. The sport is the national sport of fiji and 1m are all huge fans and the nation grinds to a halt when fiji are playing. However we are a poor nation and need funds as well as increasing people's awareness of our team and amazing brand thus the t-shirt to help in a very small way.
I would like to incorporate some fijian words and examples of these that are used a lot around the team are...
wananavu - "wonderful." Would ideally like this word used.
Toso Viti - " Go Fiji!"
vakabau-ta "believe" Any others feel free to use too...
The team come from a collection of islands called fiji in the middle of the pacific, paradise and coconut trees, beaches, the sea, villages all integral to everyday life.
Few example pictures of team etc.
The rugby logo is also a coconut tree.
Be creative, on trend and as far out of the box as you want to be

- be as creative as you like and nothing touristy! There is a big surge of the youth of fiji that are becoming really aware of the latest trends and are a creative nation that though isolated, is incredibly friendly and proud of their country. Its also got this mix of very traditional and modern.
Keep the designs simple so this t shirt becomes a must have and almost spreads across the nation and then further as a signal of your support for the team.
