Web Design Brief

We wish to create a web based logistics exchange for heavy machinery and equipment catering to the mining, oil, gas and infrastructure industries. Customers interested in shipping equipment can post a load on the site and this would then be auctioned off through an online auction to prospective transport providers.Payments would be through direct bank transfer,visa, mastercard etc.
Both shippers and transport providers gain access via membership.
When a load is posted it would appear on the map indicating its location.Transport providers click on the icon of this map to access information of the pick up and delivery details as well as the load description.
The site would also have links to transport departments and equipment specification sites.
Advertising and merchandising are the other areas of revenue through the site
