Illustration Design Brief

I am needing a graphic illustration that will used as part of the front cover of a book.

The name of the book is called "Beyond the handshake... The Art of Networking". So, the image should be about people networking.

The image should have a retro feel (as though it's from the 1960's), it should be intriguing so that people see it and think "that's cool".

I would prefer NOT to just have a close-up of a pair of hands clasped. Instead, I would like it to be a group of at least 4 to 20 people networking at a cocktail party, but with a business feel, not a social party. But showing martini glasses or other drinks would be good.
The illustration can be in black and white, or color. It can be realistic imagery, or caricature.

It should be attractive to business men/women and catch their eye as they walk through a bookstore in an airport. It should be artful and appeal to a sophisticated audience.

I have attached the first concept of the front cover illustration. I want to replace the "clasped hands" with a better image, created by great designers from around the world.
