T-shirt Design Brief
Georgian Bay is one of the largest freshwater bodies of water in the world. Home of the 30,000 islands, and in the heart of the Canadian Sheild, Georgian Bay is the home of some great cottage history. Canadian families escape to their Georgian Bay cottages for some water and sun in the summer. Out on the islands, few have electricity. Peanut butter and jam sandwiches are an easy meal. GB PBJ Sandwich Company is a fictitious company. It refers to how GB is the best place to make and eat a simple PBJ sandwich! They just taste better on Georgian Bay. We are looking for a t-shirt design that would include a logo for the company, and be something that we could put on a t-shirt to give to visitors to our cottage. We will sit on the dock, eat PBJ sandwiches and hand them a t-shirt when they leave from an unforgettable visit! Google "Georgian Bay" for inspirational images of sweeping pine trees and granite faces on clear blue water! Heaven on earth! We are looking for a t-shirt design including a front design, back design and to have it include something that would look like an old-fashioned company logo. It should work on any color t-shirt.

Hi all designers. Thank you to everyone who is participating in this contest.
We have received questions about using full color photos. I was concerned about printing, so I got some advice from our printer.
The silks creener is limited to seven spot colors. To use more colors (full color) we would have to change to digital printing, which would not be as sharp. The best results for silk screen photos are when the photo is photoshopped back to 7 spot colors.
So, that will be our direction to you. Full color photos will not be acceptable. However, you can use a photo and reduce it back to a 7 color high resolution vector image and submit that as part of the design.

Hi everyone.
I am going to eliminate a lot of designs today just to get to the current work that we are considering. Thank you to everyone who has submitted designs. I know how much work you put into your work.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hi Everyone. I did not intend for the contest to end on a Sunday. I am just extending it 2 days to make sure final submissions can be made. Thank you to everyone for their efforts.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I am extending the deadline by one day. There are a few designers putting in strong submissions at the deadline. To recognize everyone's work, we increased the budget to have $100 for second place. Our plan is to buy the 1st and 2nd place designs.

Requirements
Must have
- Must be able to work on any colour t-shirt.
This fictitious company would be on Goat Island in Parry Sound, Georgian Bay.
Nice to have
- Maybe a 1950s tourist feel, where big box restaurants and hotels would not exist.
Should include a front and back design, and something that would look like a logo for the company.
I uploaded a group of pictures (from our cottage, our boat, and the area around it) and some sample posters that have a 1950s feel. The posters are just for vintage feel. Nothing on the posters should be considered a requirement.
