Dear designers, Thank you for submitting your designs. The logo is the first marketing collateral that nView is crowd sourcing, we hope this exercise will be productive and that we will be able to find a good process for future marketing collateral activities. So far things are looking good and there are many good designs: we have received 28 designs from 19 designers. Most are very relevant and look good! I omitted giving too many details on our product in the project definition to give you more room to be creative. I realize though that it is difficult to find an appropriate logo without some more information. Most likely, nView will be a single product company, but staying high level and not too close to a specific product is always desirable. Our product is a scanner that provides 3D images in real-time and continuously so that surgeons/radiologists can see what they do while doing non-invasive procedures (for example surgery through tiny holes). We provide the equivalent of CT scan images, but our images are a video, i.e. we see what's going on in real-time, like in a video. Technically we provide 4D imaging. The basic technology is x-ray, which has some downsides because it is ionizing radiation and can be dangerous, although the use of image outweighs the risks. Key benefits for our customers are the accuracy and the ease of use. Most systems out there only provide 2D imaging (inaccurate), and some provide 3D (but imaging is not real-time, imaging interrupts surgery and the surgical workflow is impaired). This may or may not change your ideas on the logo… I'll let you assess this information, and am of course willing to answer any question you may have.
