Illustration Design Brief
We have a corporate client event in February in Laguna Niguel, CA, which is known for its many art galleries and artists. We are hosting a dinner one evening at an actual artist community. We would like to leverage the venue in a unique way by using the many TV monitors to show "art". We would like to take the jpg head & shoulders photo (re: "headshot") of our attendees and apply a popular artist look to them, and then rotate the images throughout the night on the monitors.
We will handle the AV component of this job, but I am looking for someone (or multiple people) who can take a headshot and apply after-effects or photoshop treatment to it such that it generates an artistic image that is still recognizable as the person? You can often find samples of custom images recreated like Andy Warhol images online.
Below is a list of a few well known artists, along with a couple of styles we thought could be applied to the photos. I am interested in having approx. 100 photos converted into a style like these artists, selecting about 10 artists or artistic types and applying those styles to 10 photos each. Sample of what we're thinking: http://www.mydavinci.com/Gift/Pop-Art.html?pt=google&em=personalized%20andy%20warhol&gclid=CLaP-ePZ_rMCFegWMgodA2AA8A
I am not sure how difficult this would be for a designer. I would like to see a sample headshot from a designer and detailed information about how he/she would manage the larger project. Designer can use his/her own head/shoulders photo. For this sample phase I'll pay $200. Pending the outcome, I will engage the designer to complete all 100 photos for an increased fee. The deadline for the full project will be Jan. 18, 2013. Artists & styles include:
Andy Warhol
Roy Lichtenstein
Van Gogh
Picasso
Salvador Dali
Monet
Gustov Klimt
