Logo Design Brief

Looking for a logo that has more oomph than one we are presently using. (See attachment. The blue cross is a play on the Scottish national flag).

Logo should include project name (University Technologies from Scotland) and reflect country of origin (i.e. Scotland: using line drawings of something associated with the country, such as mountains, or an icon/indicator of technological innovation (lifesciences, IT et al).

Text color could be important to highlight. Keen on modern clean font.
