Book Cover Design Brief

Design a book cover for a sports biography about Kiwi NBA player Steven Adams. The book will be A5 size, approx 80 pages. It needs to have front and back covers and a spine. It needs to be print ready so that I can send it straight to a printer and also that I can have the files that printers would need. I write sports biographies for young adults who don't usually read much, especially boys, so I really want it to look appealing to them, to look like it would be a 'cool' book to read especially if they are reluctant readers. I want the cover to look inspirational like its a story about someone who has overcome a lot of really tough obstacles in life to achieve an impossible dream.

• Make the design look street, cool, urban. colours related to the Oklahoma Thunder basketball team like blues, orange, white
• Front cover: must have the title Jammin' with Steven Adams and author name David Riley. Must use the second image attached [close up of Steven jamming].
• Back cover: use the image titled 'Jordan Brand Stare' and include the following blurb:
• Jammin’ with Steven Adams is the amazing story of how a troubled young man from small town New Zealand, achieved his dream of playing in the best basketball competition in the world … the NBA! Learn how you can achieve the impossible through the power of hope.
