Hi - I see from your screen shots there's already a logo in place. Is this to be replaced or are you requesting a logo for the app icon?

Yes the logo on the provided screenshots it is to be replaced, it was just a quick mock up and although I think conceptually it''s quite good we think it needs to stand out more, appear more fun, vibrant, whilst at the same time retaining some modernity-this app provides content for a digital app purchasing generation and so seeks to NOT be anything like the image of the traditional/quintessentially British/geeky/discerning/ageing tour guide or tourist experience.

thanks Leo, that makes it clearer! I'm assuming you'll require an app icon once the main logo is selected so I'll bear that in mind when putting designs together.
