Logo Design Brief
SUMMARY
Our US-based company is looking for help designing a fabulous logo for our new product, an eco-friendly bath caddy/tray that stays where you put it!
PRODUCT
The Spa Luxe bath caddy will provide users with an eco-conscious, user-friendly and beautiful solution to where to put things for use during a bath. The caddy has a book holder, a slot to slide your wine glass into (so it doesn't spill), and a small general storage area on the side. The body of the caddy is made of bamboo, while the legs are made of stainless steel and chrome. In addition, the big difference between our product and others is that the legs have an extra gripping layer so that they grip the edge of the tub better. This solves the problem that other bamboo models have wherein the metal from the tray leg sometimes slides -- causing the entire tray to fall into the tub (with all of the users' stuff with it!)
WORDING
The brand name is "Spa Luxe". Our tag line is "When it's time to relax". We'd like to use the tag line in printed materials, but are not sure if it will work online due to size limits. Feel free to do the logo either way.
TARGET MARKET
Our target user is a female (25-45). She has middle to high income, enjoys pampering herself, and likes to read. She appreciates form as well as function (or else she would have bought a cheap chrome bath caddy).
FEELING
We'd like this product, its logo, and all of its associated marketing collateral to remind the user of a trip to a health spa. It should be associated with a sense of pampering, calm, and relaxation, but with a bit of indulgence thrown in. In addition, please keep in mind the eco-friendliness of the product which brings the "health" and "natural" components into play.
USAGE
The logo will be used online, on packaging, and in other materials. In should be versatile enough to be used in a black and white setting, as well as in a color one. Also, it must translate well both online and off. Feel free to submit two versions of the same design to accomplish that.

Reason: Hi Everyone,
Thank you to everyone for your wonderful submissions for our logo contest. We are seriously considering a few of the designs. However, as my printer has given me a bit more time, we are hoping to explore a few more choices. In particular, we would like to see logos with a slightly more updated feel -- a design that looks current now, but will still look great down the road. Think "modern, but classic".
