Logo Design Brief

Spotlight Ovations Performing Arts needs a new logo. We teach and hold performances in the disciplines of dance, acting, circus, music, and musical theatre. We hold classes year round as well as summer camps for ages 4 months to adult. Our main age of enrollment is 5-13 year olds.

Design must have the initials SOPA and be colorful and fun. If it couls say the full mane of the company - spotlight Ovations Performing Arts that is a bonus, if it doesn't fit, that is ok. Must have a spotlight and convey that kids have fun learning about various aspects of the performing arts. A comedy/tragedy mask, or a stage, or kids hanging off the letters/dancing are all ideas but not required if you can convey the message in the logo without them.

Target Market(s)

Our main client is the kids, but their parents are the ones who will sign them up for classes. So the challengs is to make the logo fun for kids to look at, yet professional enough for to peek the parent's interest.

  would like it to be able to fit in a round or square...don't want it to be a long rectangle. Should be able to fit on one breast side of a T-shirt.

• design should not use "bland" looking fonts.
