Good Morning,

I am just trying to find the logo in your brief, but cannot seem to access it.

This is something i would like to try, I can send over some designs i have done before if you like via email.

If you want to email me on t.f.marshall@hotmail.co.uk i would be more than happy to try and help!

Thanks

Sorry about that!

I started the project on my other computer.

I have uploaded the logos now. There are two, but I think I favor the black + white one for the DVD Cover, but I'm open. Just want a good looking DVD Cover.

Thanks so much,

Seth

Seth,

I'd like to work on this project. I understand that time is of the essence here, since your launch is coming up soon. One thing that would be helpful is a way to save the photos that you have posted on your flickr page. As it is, if you right click on the images, there's no "save as" option for jpeg files. It asks if you want to save the webpage or the link.

I can be reached directly at tljledford@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Troy

I'll see if I can change the settings. In the meantime, here's a dropbox link to some images:

Thank you!

Thanks Seth. That's a start. Honestly, the images on the Flickr page have more to offer. Maybe you can put those in your Dropbox folder too? Let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Do you have a tag line for the movie... I guess like a subtitle? A phrase under the name or somewhere on the cover to draw the viewer to watch the movie?

Also, can you give me a sense of the goal of this film? Where are you taking the viewers? Clearly, there's drama and a hint in the photos and in the trailer of church and scripture in use. I'm asking to get the overall "feel" that you're going for. And this is useful for the back cover layout. (If you need that as well.) Maybe you have a descriptive paragraph that you'd like to see on the back?

If you don't want to give too much away publicly, I understand. Feel free to send me any info by email. tljledford@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Troy

Hey Troy,

I tried sending you the album from inside Flickr, not sure if that'll be any different.

I also checked the privacy settings and everything is as accessible as I can make it. Can you drag and drop to the desktop if right clicking doesn't work?

Regarding the sense of the movie that I want people to get, I would say hopeful and optimistic but that you need to persevere. It's not easy but it's also not all doom and gloom, you know. At one point, a friend of mine suggested calling the movie "Over and Back" because the two main characters go to Mexico and come back, but it's also a penalty in basketball, once you cross half court you can't go back. I could see something with the border and half court working on the cover maybe.

One design that's been submitted used black as the background and I didn't like that. Too dark and depressing. I think the background has to be white or light.

Please let me know if you have any more questions. I really appreciate your help with this.

Seth, I got your email. It's just a link to the slide show. The images are still locked.

Is there any way these can be added individually to a Dropbox folder? That worked fine for the other images.

Thanks,
Troy

Seth,

I found a way!

What do you think of something on this order?

http://www.ascully.com/definitely-maybe/

You want a white or lighter background. And you have several good individual cast photos... Maybe we can work around this kind of structure? (Without being exactly like this.)

Also, would you like your cast to be listed on the front? Or a "Written, directed, and produced by Seth Kuhn" credit to appear at the bottom?

I'm open as I have a blank canvas at this point.

I'm really liking the photo of the two holding hands. Though not your lead character roles, it does contribute to the direction of the film.

Fantastic!

And yeah, that's great! I would love to have the actors names the way they have it there. And then "A Film by Seth Kuhn" above the title would work great.

I would also really like it if we could get the 5 main actors on the cover, even if it's in a two shot. Can you tell which are the 5 main actors? : ) What do you think would be best for the main image? Is that what you're thinking of when you say you're liking the holding hands photo? I'm open to it. I'll see if I can find anything or pull anything from the movie that might work well for the two main characters.

Do you think we have enough good photos for the 6 smaller photos?

Seth,

I've just uploaded two samples for you. I'll have to go back and add the additional text. I think I've included the top characters. Some more than once and you're on there three times. Can you give me the character's names that you'd like on the cover?

I've given you the front cover. The image cut outs are rough. If you like what you see, I'll go back and clean them up. Or, if you'd rather not see the rings or the whistle, I can remove them.

Would you like the back done as well? I would need a blurb about the movie and any additional text or barcode, etc...

Let me know what you think.

Troy
