1) We need a logo design for a new strength and fitness website based in Ireland.
2) Supple Beast is the overall company name and domain for the website. We will be providing a blog relating to all things strength and fitness, as well as selling numerous products such as training equipment, supplements and ebooks.
3) Our first product is a patented cold compression wrap which is used by athletes and racehorses to aid recovery.
4) The term supple beast is supposed to reflect the ideal competitor. Supple refers to mobility, flexibility, vitality. Beast implies strength, toughness and mental ruggedness.
5) The term is chosen as beast loosely refers to someone who is very strong, or an animal- encompassing racehorses for the compression wrap.
6) It is envisaged to add clothing to the product line down the road. I would hope to use the logo for this also.
7) I would like a graphic which is strong, and in time might be able to stand alone without our name written beside it.
8) Our customers are sportsmen and women, who will be fans of such things as crossfit, rugby, strength training, and all things fitness.
9) The logos I have liked most so far have been pretty symmetrical, and have had some sort of animal or facial reference.
10) The logo must not be too childish, cartoon like or feminine. However our customers will include women so I would prefer not t alienate them.
Updates

Nice to have
- ***NOT ESSENTIAL***
I like symmetry
I like the concept of the logo featuring an animal, but this is not an absolute must. I prefer lifelike logos to those which are just symbols.
Should not have
- Should not be childish or cartoon like
