Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for our church, SOUL Community Church. SOUL stands for: self-realization, oneness, universalism, love and these are the guiding beliefs. We are a non-religious, transdenominational church. Our goal is to create a refuge for those who long for the community of church but without the limitations and dogma often found within. We are an interfaith community seeking awakening, practicing love, and lifting each other higher and higher. We would like a design that does not emphasize the word church. We want it to feel welcoming to all.

Hi! After taking a look at the first few designs that were submitted, I think some additional feedback might help. 1) In general for images we would prefer 6-sided shapes to triangles or 5-sided shapes. 2) We are still open to a number of different layout options, but take a look at the designs that have NOT been eliminated and look at the feedback we gave. It may help in your designs. 3) We will be giving quick feedback and eliminating designs as we go, so keep coming back and taking a look at the other designs - it's a short project but we will be on top of it. Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We've seen some good designs and have changed the project to guaranteed payment in hopes that designers will be willing to put the effort into making suggested tweaks to get this project over the finish line quickly. We wanted to give more time to go back and forth with final changes.

- The words SOUL Community Church must be present. SOUL must be in all caps as it stands for something. The word Church should be less prominent that the other words. Should feel inviting and comfortable, like "home."
Nice to have
- Open to inclusion of sacred geometry (i.e. flower of life) . We would love to see some designs that incorporate ideas of light (the sun perhaps), perhaps an enso, or an illustration of a kintu (three cocoa leaves together like this: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/69/168658173_addeb7321d_b.jpg
We also love the idea of a seed being planted, plants, growth, life, etc.
Should not have
- Any religious symbols or look childish or cartoony.
