Logo Design Brief
Note- we are looking to use the logo on our business cards, vehicle sign writing and signs outside our jobs.
We are a small building business located in Tasmania Australia in need of branding. Tasmania is a small state known as the green state due to it's beautiful wilderness and environment. We are a building company specializing in residential renovations, extensions and looking to move into the new home segment in the future. We have had an idea for the logo.. that includes the use of a carpentry tool (a sliding bevel). we would like the tool to look contemporary and Include our name. However in saying that we are still open to other creative ideas and concepts. We would like our name used with the logo ( CKJ Building solutions) However we would like the 'solutions font smaller) so the name isn't too long to look at. We would like to use a color scheme that includes black, grey, orange and white. We would like to communicate to our clients- quality craftsmanship, innovative yet approachable. We have added picture files of sliding bevels and some draft mocks ups (however these are just examples of our line of thinking.. ) Thanks!

Thank you so much for participatingin our contest and for submitting some great designs.
Today is the last day of the contest and I would love to see some designs that do not follow the brief but are your own concepts and ideas!
We had a concept in mind at the start of this project but not sure if it will actually work in the design? We would really like a logo design that is professional.
We are using the design on our vans, signage outside proterties, business cards, tops and so forth!
