Graphic Design Brief

Create a group of Sell Sheets that can be used in client meetings and willbe incorporated into web site pages in the future. We wish to highlight our Mission Statement / Company Bio / Services and Products offered. This piece may be 8 to 12 pages. In the near future this will grow to include an on-line Catalog with 300 to 500 pages of product offerings.

It will not list individual products and prices but rather will serve as a New Business introduction using brief descriptive text and a lot of industry photos. At this time we do have a Logo and Tag Line which will be used.

The image we need to portray is High End Quality Sales, Service, Professional Industry Experience and Reliability. My personal experience includes 27 years as a ship´s Captain working all over the world.

We are a start-up Ship´s Chandler service, located in Macae, Brasil. We will sell products and inspection services to the Offshore Petroleum Industry which includes vessels and platforms. These products will include the simple monthly supply replenishment (like paper towels / laundry soap / drinking water) to the more technical, like Pop Off Valves (sales & inspection certifications), Transfer Hoses, Sales Service and Certifications, OEM Filters for Engines& Generators, Anchor Harware, Nautical Bulbs & Light Fixtures Safety Gear and hundreds of other items.

We will have a group of EMERGENCY GEAR on-hand in our warehouse, to supply in cases like a lost anchor for example. We willoffer a Guaranteed 30 hour delivery anywhere in Brasil. These vessels work at a rate of up to $50K per day and cannot afford what is called`Down Time` or time off the clock.

All text will be supplied in both English and Portuguese. I prefer that each block of text will show both languages with a distinctive color or typeface for each. Please present your ideas on how to deal with the two languages.

• I am open to a Professional, High End look. I would like to incorporate photos and ``historical`` illustrations to tella story, which I will supply.
  
  I have attached our new Company Logo which has the tag line....``TO STAY THE COURSE´´. We would like to repeat the logo and tag line whenever possible without being too obnoxious.
