Hi, can you provide us with some more details. What do you mean interface? What elements should we design?

by Project Owner on Saturday, December 20, 2014

Hi Ntok,
I've updated the brief to be a bit more clear - hope this helps. Essentially I just want you to re-create the two screenshots I included in a fun 'Vintage Soviet' style. I'm a designer myself but I normally do posters - I've have a bit of 'designers block' on this one! I'm looking for use of color, texture - and ideas on how to handle buttons and other elements.

Let me know if you need any other direction.
Kind Regards,
Belle

The budget is too low. Increase your budget if you want good design.

Budget increased.

Also, I'm looking for concepts rather than finished art so you are welcome to submit pencil sketches or rough drafts if you don't want to spend long on it.

Vintage Soviet style is?

Color palette*: the "palate" is the lining of your mouth.

Hi 2KDesign - Ive posted some stamps as a bit of a reference. I'm looking for something that captures the essence of the Soviet Union Propaganda art of the 20-60s. There are lots of different styles as the propaganda artists reacted to the trends of the time, but they all share the same elements. Bold colours, strong lines, block shapes. The Poster of the Interview is a good example of a good interpretation of North Korean Propaganda art. I added the vintage as I want the art to look a little worn and 'from the era', however I'm not married to that so fee free to ignore that part.

Thanks for the comment Fabio - I'll remember that for next time!

Sketches or concept art only right? So no need to finish your app after this?

Concept art only is correct. Finished art would be a different competition or a private contract.
