For the designers working on our project, I have changed this project budget to committed status. This is our first attempt at utilizing DesignCrowd and after reading the blog chatter we realize that committing the funds is what is right for the designers working on our porject and provides us with a higher chance of getting the result we are looking for on the project.

After seeing a couple initial submissions from a designer I would like to add some additional guidance to all designers as to what we are looking for so your efforts are focused in a direction that is productive. Text is not something that should be the focal point of the logo. Your submissions do not even need to contain text at all to be considered. What we are looking for is a graphic that incorporates the Minuteman persona or theme. Minuteman are traditional identified by their colonial type hats. Again something masculine and modern not cartoon-ish. The graphic could also utilize the letter "R" for Revere but should have some element of a minuteman in it.
