Logo Design Brief

A simple but strong logo. Orientation should be around and driven by the text, (not a picture or image). Would like to use accent colors, (dark blue, gray, brick red, rust/muted red...or any others you think appropriate). Perhaps, with the lettering blending from a red to a gray at an angle, or a mountain-like (again, sedate) image or line behind the text (not centered). We know what we're looking for...just having difficulty translating from our heads into words
