Logo Design Brief

Swoboda is my family name and means in different language FREEDOM
I have 4 children ...all boys
I want to create a logo, with de "S" ....something like de S of SUPERMAN and below the logo our name: SWOBODA
The logo hast to give the impression of: POWER, IMPACT, RELIABILITY, FREEDOM
The idea with this Logo is for personal use....for my family. to stamp stickers, or print the logo on t-shirts , for our web page...etc etc ..different applications or uses
Attached you find the logo of SUPERMAN as an Idea ( I think this logo has a copy right, no? )
