Philippine homebrew startup needs logo design

This is what Sikatuna or Sikatuna Craft Brewery was looking for in their logo design

I'm a solo home brewer looking to expand my reach by entering the local market. The name is "Sikatuna Craft Brewery". Sikatuna was a local chieftain during the Spanish colonial period, who forged a blood compact (drinking of their blood) with one of the earlier Spanish explorers, formally sealing the friendship between the natives and the Spaniards. I chose Sikatuna as my brewery name because, like how the blood compact brought the two worlds together, I wish to bring the taste of international beers to the Filipinos. Locally brewed, beer styles of the world. I also intend to name my brews after historical names/figures/events that are not as popularly known, in order to impart appreciation of our history.

I would like the logo to impart some ethnic/local characteristic, but not overwhelmingly so. Including a figure/profile/drawing of Sikatuna would be preferred but not required. (There is no historical record of what he looks like, not even the memorial is accurate. Therefor… Read more
