Logo for Black Dog Cafe

This is what Black Dog Cafe was looking for in their logo design

I need a logo design for The Black Dog Cafe for the outdoor sign (approx 1 metre x 0.5 metre), which can also be used in full or part for small things like labels and coffee cards.

The cafe is very relaxed, warm and inviting, but maintains high standards of food and service and is popular amongst locals and city visitors.

I would like to incorporate a black dog into the logo, but it must not be realistic dog - more like a cartoon or impression or part of a dog such as eyes, tail etc. The cafe name must also feature in the logo.

Our internal colour scheme is terracotta orange, hints of green, earth brown and black, along with cream, silver and grey of machines. I do not want the logo to be over colourful, but it must be eyecatching. Read more
