Country town bookshop needs new logo design

This is what Reader's Companion was looking for in their logo design

We are taking over a bookstore in regional/country Australia, that has been operating for 23 years. We want to revamp the image of the shop and a new logo will go a long way to achieve this.

We LOVE books and are knowledgeable about our products.

We have mature customers but would now like to appeal to a younger market too. Perhaps something a bit retro in design

I like the 70's palette of mustard, pale blue, steel blue, brown

A logo that will be easy to reproduce as a stamp or stickers : only one or two colours
