Logo For Start-Up Local Online Business Consultant

This is what Helping Local Businesses Get Found On-Line was looking for in their logo design

I need to revisit my logo design - there's something missing and I need some more idea's. I am setting up a business called eAngel. The ethos of the business is to help small local businesses promote themselves on-line offering cost effective solutions. My site will be very clean and uncluttered as I believe in keeping it simple. I would like my logo to reflect the fact:
1) we love to help small businesses and provide personal service
2) we don't like to over complicate
3) we are a brand to be trusted
4) we are always on hand to help
I have had an initial design created sometime ago and like the simplicity and the colours but as mentioned feel there is something missing. I had wondered about some form of character to represent the brand but don't want to be too cheesy. I am open to suggestion on colour formats. Read more
