Logo Design Brief
Starcrush is a Baltimore based cover band playing top 40, pop, rock, and some country from the 90's through today. We perform at bars and clubs, private events and weddings. We've had multiple logos over the years all featuring a star but that's about it. It doesn't say anything that gives anyone an idea that we're a band. The ideas we're looking for don't have to be overtly music oriented (open to ideas) and we don't want something with a "spacey" feel, but rather something that communicates a fun, party band and ideally one that features the name of the band and also subtly communicates music so that as a stand along logo, people will know it's associated with a band. Our current logo is attached. Our website is www.starcrushmusic.com.

I should add that in addition to more abstract logos, I seem to lean towards those that have a circular border or is circular itself. We've gotten some great designs so far. PLEASE keep them coming.

- Band name; ideally some reference to the fact that this is a band/music related
Nice to have
- I'd like to see some logos that are takes off of corporate logos, such as those attached. Instead of the Jack Daniels bottle, perhaps a Patron bottle or Jameson bottle (I like the black and white style of the attached logo). Or a take off on the "Orange Crush" logo - maybe something that is tequila and a lime instead of an orange, or just the same logo but with our band name. I'm also open to out of the box ideas, which is why I included the girl. Maybe the band name but a sexy girl (love the style and everything about the one attached) with a music tie-in so people would know it's a band. Anything that is a take on late 90s through 2000's pop culture. Maybe rock horns for the "U" in Starcrush if it's just the band name as the logo.
